The 200 Hour training is our foundational program and our equivalent of undergraduate study. It offers you the most in-depth and transformative exploration of your personal yoga practice. You will look back at this training as the experience of a lifetime. Our time-tested processes will develop you from an avid student into a confident teacher over the course of 200 hours, thereby empowering a deeply satisfying new life path, and creating meaningful friendships along the way.

Choose from a Gentle Yoga or Flow Yoga or Hot Yoga tracks and spend all 200 of your hours in the specialized environment that best suits you. Offered since 2006, this training has catalyzed the yoga careers of some of the most celebrated teachers in our area and beyond. Graduates are awarded a 200-hour Certificate, which is recognized by the Yoga Alliance, the nation’s leading accreditation authority.

2014 FLOW YOGA TRACK: 2 modules

Our Flow Yoga Track focuses on the study of the flowing yoga traditions: Vinyasa Yoga, Ashtanga Yoga, Power Yoga, and their derivatives.

Level 1 Flow (100 hours)
The Level 1 Flow module is the first of two steps in our 200 Hour Flow Program. It is presented during an intense week of all-day training which will revolutionize your practice forever! Learn to read bodies, understand your own, and clearly see the functional anatomy behind the yoga poses of Vinyasa and Power. Read more about Level 1 Flow and see upcoming dates and prices.

Level 2 Flow (100 hours)

The Level 2 Flow module is the second of two steps in our 200 Hour Training Program. 2014 GENTLE YOGA TRACK: 4 modules 

Our Gentle Yoga Track focuses on the study of the gentle mind-body traditions: Gentle Yoga, Gentle Vinyasa or Vinyasa Basics, Yoga for Beginners, Yin Yoga, Restorative Yoga, and their derivatives.

Level 1 Gentle (100 hours)
The Level 1 Gentle module is the first of four steps in our 200 Hour Gentle Program. It is presented during a week of all-day training which will transform your relationship to yourself. Yin Yoga Teacher Training Module (20 hours)
The Yin module is the second piece of our 200 Hour Gentle Program. This module covers everything you need to know about this impactful practice, from its origins in Chinese Meridian Theory to the science behind long-held releases. Read more about the Yin Yoga Training and see upcoming dates and prices.

Level 2 Gentle (60 hours)

The Level 2 Gentle module is the third piece of our 200 Hour Gentle Program. Learn to sequence creatively and explore the philosophical movements and ideas that have shaped yoga. You will build your own teaching philosophy and experience designing and teaching a full class to a group, building your confidence within the safe environment of the program and smoothly bridging your transition into real-life teaching. Read more about Level 2 Gentle and see upcoming dates and prices.

Restorative Yoga Teacher Training Module (20 hours)
The Restorative module is the fourth piece of our 200 Hour Gentle Program. This module covers everything you need to know about this necessary practice, from the latest findings on the effects of stress to delicious techniques to help students heal and recover from illness, stress, trauma, injury, surgery or major change. Read more about the Restorative Yoga Training and see upcoming dates and prices.



2014 Hot YOGA TRACK: 3 MODULES 

Our Hot Yoga Track focuses on the study of heated Hatha yoga, specifically the Bishnu Gosh Lineage.

Level 1 Hot (100 hours)
Module 1 Hot Yoga is the first step in the 200 hour Hot Yoga Program. It is presented over the course of four weekends that will change your practice, and the way you think about Hot Yoga.  Learn the benefits and risks of a heated practice, how to read bodies, how to understand your own, and how to see the functional anatomy behind the 26 postures and two breathing exercises. By the end of Module 1 students will have taught a full-length 90 minute class as well as an abbreviated 60 min class.  Read more about the Level 1 Hot yoga training and see upcoming dates and prices.

Level 2 Hot Yoga (65 hours)
Module 2 Hot Yoga is the second step in the 200 hour Hot Yoga Program. It is presented over the course of three weekends. This module raises the bar on a hot yoga teacher training! Students will learn how to enhance their teaching skills with knowledge of modifications, working with injuries and special conditions, hands-on adjustments, sequencing, and props.  They will also learn 24 intermediate asanas taken from the 84 asana system of Bishnu Ghosh.  Read more about the Level 2 Hot Yoga Training and see upcoming dates and prices.


The Yoga Philosophy Training (35 hours)
This Yoga Philosophy Training is the third step in the 200 hour Hot Yoga Program. It is presented over the course of two weekends. This module focuses on the history of hatha yoga and yoga philosophy.  Read more about the The Yoga Philosophy Training and see upcoming dates and prices.
