Jenn began Bikram Yoga in 2002 and quickly fell in love with the intensity and beauty of the practice. No matter where she moved in California, living by a Bikram studio was a non-negotiable. In 2008, after six years of practice, she received a sponsorship to attend Bikram's teacher training certification in Acapulco, Mexico. For over two months she lived with other students and trained with Bikram and his wife Rajashree, and other top Bikram instructors throughout the world. Formally an analyst in a venture capital firm and a graduate of Duke University, she came back from her training and promptly quit her job to teach Bikram full time. She is a true disciple of Bikram practicing both the beginners and advanced series at least four times a week. She teaches a very traditional class focusing on detailed instruction and helping her students realize the true essence of the Bikram practice. Her high energy, dedication to her students, and knowledge of the practice make her classes extremely popular. Her goal is to have even the most seasoned practicioners learn something new in every class. In addition to Bikram Yoga she is currently pursing her certification with the Yoga Alliance for Vinyasa Yoga. She is currently training with Mark Stephens and Shiva Rea and is excited to expand her knowledge of yoga and teach Vinyasa in the future.
