art of the breath

Linda began her yoga practice in the late 1990's. She has trained in both the US and India in Vinyasa, Ashtanga, Forrest and Yin Yoga, as well as Pilates, Ayurveda, and Vipassana Meditation. She has taught thousands of private and group classes and led many workshops and retreats, both in the US and internationally. Under her guidance and tutelage, as the Director of the acclaimed YogaSource Teacher Training, she has certified a number of amazing yoga instructors from across the country. Through her passionate knowledge of the human body, she has helped many students recover from injury and build a safe and therapeutic yoga practice.

No matter what style, Linda's teaching attracts students from the Bay Area and beyond. Her innovative Flow classes are an exquisitely challenging sequence of breath, precision, fun, and lots of sweat set against topics from both Eastern and Western philosophy. Her Bikram classes are known for being very strong, anti-establishment, and continuously enlightening even the most seasoned lovers of the style.

At other times of the day, she is a wife, mother, CEO, artist, published writer, voracious foodie, and always, a student. Linda is San Jose's first ambassador for Lululemon Athletica and the founder of YogaSource Los Gatos, Silicon Valley's premier yoga studio, spa and boutique.

Linda Says:

“[In my class], I want people to connect with something deep but I also want them to have the time of their lives on that mat. I want them to leave knowing themselves a little better and asking “can we do it again?” I want them to break bounds and exceed all expectations and become better, happier, more genuine human beings. That's why I love my job, because I get to see it happen every day...”
