"I think it was good for me even though I am already teaching (and the training was probably less stressful for me than most because of that) but I feel it gave me another way of looking at sequences and taught me how to develop balanced classes. I also just liked hanging out with everyone and laughing and learning more about yoga and its history, influences and where it's going." E.

Om is where the heart is!

"... I am super grateful of the opportunity to practice teach. That made a great difference in my progression. By far that was the key to your program - giving us all the opportunity to teach and get used to speaking, yoging, putting together sequences, etc. Thank you, thank you, thank you, for not just filling our brains! You let our brains activate our bodies." K.

"I am definitely glad I got to be a part of the this teacher training. It has been an amazing learning experience and is absolutely just the beginning of my growth. I did the training for my own growth and not necessarily because I felt ready to teach yoga. But I must say that I feel more eager to teach now than I ever would have imagined. I want to take this skill I have gained and really develop it further. I learned more than I anticipated about the postures. It was incredible to consider the anatomy and understand how that is relevant to sequencing.
Linda did a great job of breaking down the active and passive ranges of motion and teaching us how to incorporate that in our teaching. I think the absolute best part of the teaching is the level of knowledge that Linda has. Her passion for yoga really comes through in the depth of her knowledge about all aspects of yoga. I just hope to one day have half her understanding of the postures, philosophies, anatomy of injuries, etc. I'm honored to have been able to study under someone who has considered different forms, and philosophies and come up with her own point of view.
I had a lot of fun and I'm sad to see it end, especially because I am more eager than ever to learn and strengthen my practice. The format was perfect. The week in Mexico was a great way to capture the energy and excitement and learn a lot really quickly. The weeks at home I think were necessary to allow some of us to build the confidence to teach a class. I was really terrified initially but am now sooo grateful for that initial opportunity. THANKS, LINDA!" K.

"I am so grateful that I signed up for Linda McGrath's teacher training at Yoga Source, as opposed to another company. I love her as an instructor and I feel like the lessons and style of what she taught me are relavant to my life and how I, myself envision teaching. I learned tons, and the lessons have carried over into so many aspects of my life. I am much more aware and have a deeper practice now, and feel like I have been shown the bigger picture of a devoted yoga practice. I got what I came for, and I feel totally comfortable in front of a class teaching. I loved the trip to Mexico, although it did make the certification much more expensive. I really enjoyed the frequent Saturday classes because it helped me maintain Yoga as a mindset and lifestyle choice. I absolutely had fun, made new life long friends and will suggest the program to others. Totally Grateful, C."

"I had an amazing experience! I think the the week in Mexico really allowed the group to bond, and form a strong connection.  My practice has gone to a whole new level! I've been less judgemental about instructors as well as my physical limitations. I needed this!!!" S. "I had a great time taking this teacher training (last 100 hours). I wish I could complete my 200 hours and become certified sooner though :) It really has changed my life and possibly my career...I'm keeping my options open and my heart." K.

"This was a great training program. I feel very prepared to teach yoga now. I feel that I got what I needed most before teaching, which was a broader knowledge of yoga theory and history, practical teaching methods, and an in depth look at many advanced asanas. I had a lot of fun and I've made good friends too. I think the class format of a one week intensive followed by the weeks at home was perfect. The immersion is very important, but over time everything sank in and became very practical as we went through the second part. Thank you!!!" S.

"What amazes me most is the transformation that occurred with each individual student within a short period of time. It was a whirlwind of fascinating information, techniques and concentrated physical practice and intense focus. It amazes me how far we have come and what growth lies ahead. I loved the focus on breath, movement, combined with music, humor and allowing each individual to respect their bodies by challenging them physically and mentally in a safe environment. The knowledgeable, blessed with talent, care and hardworking guru inspired us incredibly. This certification will be a ticket in to the lives of many and has provided a stable foundation. This training was one of the best things I've done and I will be forever grateful for it. It was fun, but challenging, and certainly placed me outside of my comfort zone a few times -I loved every minute of it, absolutely! My own practice has grown more than I could have imagined. Looking so very much forward to the next retreat and advanced training! Namaste." S.

"A wonderful experience, learning with enjoyment, no hardship, learnt more about myself, other opinions. Cant believe how much I have learnt and what it gave me today: the desire to continue my practice and share my knowledge with others. Thank you!" C.
